Jessica Horn is a poet and activist whose lineage extends into the Ruwenzori mountains of Uganda and the shadows of New York’s Yankee Stadium. She was born in England and grew up in Lesotho and the Fiji Islands. Jessica works in Africa and internationally on initiatives advancing sexual rights, ending violence against women, supporting women living with HIV and ensuring women’s rights in peacebuilding.

Her prose-poem “Dreamings” was profiled in the International Museum of Women’s online exhibition Imagining Ourselves.
