Pam Ayres








Pam Ayres was born in Stanford-in-the-Vale, Berkshire. She worked in the civil service as a clerical assistant and for the Women’s Royal Air Force and as a secretary. In 1975 she began working on the TV show Opportunity Knocks.  She has appeared on radio and television in many shows and has been in show business for more than 30 years. She lives in the Cotswolds.
