Polly Atkin poet

Polly Atkin was born in Nottingham and is now living in Cumbria after spending several years in London.

Polly Atkin completed an MA in Creative Writing at Royal Holloway in London.  She volunteered at the Wordsworth Trust and is currently researching for a PhD in English and Sociology at the University of Lancaster. Polly Atkin’s poem Seven Nights of Uncreation was commissioned by the Arts Council of England as the 12th in a series commemorating the bicentenary of the Abolition of the Slave Trade Act.
